Grips

Firearm grips are the parts of a firearm designed to be held by the user’s hand to provide control, stability, and comfort during handling and operation. They are typically located on handguns, rifles, and shotguns at the primary contact points where the shooter maintains a secure hold.

On handguns, the grip is the lower portion of the frame where the shooter’s dominant hand wraps around to control the firearm. On rifles and shotguns, grips may include the stock (rear grip area), pistol grip-style handles, or foregrips positioned toward the front of the firearm.

Grips are often made from materials such as polymer, rubber, wood, or metal, and may feature textured surfaces or ergonomic shaping to improve traction and handling. While grips can vary in size, angle, and design, their main purpose is to enhance user comfort, control, and safe handling during lawful use.
